Internet censorship

i have been surfing the internet all day and one of the things that i seen all day is that there is a a bill that is being debated is whether the internet should be censored or not, and i believe that the internet should not be censored because, look at it this way if the internet was censored  then we would not be able to do this blog because this goes this is freedom of speech, like most of the things that they want to block. one other reason that i don't like it is because i don't want my home computer to be the computer at school, and  it wouldn't help me get any reports done, because most of the sites would be blocked, and that's the way i feel about this topic.

Army,Navy, Air force oh my!!!!

i could be here!
So lately i have been thinking about joining the millitary after school. while i do see the bad things like being away from my famliy, and death.but there are so so so so many things that make it good like education, houseing, food, and a place to be that is around your fellow millitary co-workers. but the thing thats makeing this hard is that i really want to go to a four year school(I have talked about it in an earlier post). While the millitary may seam like the better choice, I want to play football at a level were i can have the chance to be reconised by the NFL. this is gonna be a hard choice. NFL or Millitary. let me know how you feel about this(In that comment box below...do it..you won't)

music and the generation

I was thinking about this topic the other day when i was talking with my dad, though out the year there has been so many thing that shape the way that we live today and one of them is music. i feel that because of music there has been many advancement  in history as well as dissenters that were inspired by music.without them we would not be where we are now, for example the Beatles fought the ways of Britain with their music and is inspired the citizen of Britain to do the same, i feel that our music that we play today help give our generation confidence to do things that we would not or could not normally do.

I was sitting watching TV when i saw a trailer for a movie called J.Edger and when i was watching the trailer i thought that it was going to be rated PG-13 but no, it was rated R, i mean look at this Trailer, it doesn't have the factors that make up a Rated R movie, which brings me to my second question what factors make up a Rated R movie. Is it something that cause fear and creates nightmares because different people find different things scary, for example if you give a kids puppet movie a G-rating, but someone finds puppets scary then that movie should be rated R, therefore if rated R movies are rated of fears then all movies should be rated R. if thats not it does it mean that they rate movies with R because they want to protect people, but that doesn't work either because people are raised in different ways and certain things don't affect them, Which says that if rated R movies are rated in that way then only certain people should have the rated R rating, the point that i am trying to make is that to me the movie rating system is broken and needs to be fixed.

football protection and hard hits

Football is a hard and fast game and can be only be played by certain people, while it is very protected because of all the pad that they wear, all the protection is making it more dangerous, and for several reason the first being that since of all the padding, people are hitting harder, because they don't have to worry about hurting themselves. The other reason is that since people are hitting harder more people are getting hit in the head which is giving them concussions, which is usually a season ending injury, or a career ending injury, and  since more people are getting hit in the head, more people are getting fined. I understand what the protection of pads are trying to do, but the stronger that we make our protection the more people are getting hurt.

Are you ready?
As i was sitting watching TV I thought to myself, College is right around the corner and I will be leaving my home to go be by myself about 1803.48 miles away from Chicago, Illinois( I'm going to Arizona State) and that is when it really dawned on me how much different college will be from high school. College is going to be a lot harder then high school because you are responsible for  all the things that you do, like homework for example, while you may not have to go to class everyday you still need to make sure that you remember when things are due, or get the notes from someone if you miss them because the teacher doesn't care as much as the ones in high school do. besides the homework there is also the hole "not with my parents anymore" factor, that when you want to buy something you have to get the money yourself, not from your parent. Then there's sports,if your college that you want to go to has a good sport team and you want to play, you best believe that a college practice is like you hardest practice times three. While there are the bad thing about college the good thing make up for it,while remembering to doing homework and go to class may be hard to remember to do,the plus side is that you don't have to do the homework that day and that you don't have to go to class every day.And when it comes to spending money you can send it on whatever you want, what that Spongebob-shaped lava lamp, buy it its your money. And as for sports, you get that college atmosphere on game day.so while there are the thing that are hard about college there are good things that make it all worth it in the end.

official post number 1

Hello people. With homecoming week coming to an end I just want to recap on this important week at  Grayslake central high school. What really started the homecoming week of events was the powder puff games, if you don't know what  powder puff  is : powder puff is an all female flag-football game in which the freshmen play the sophomores and the juniors play the seniors. The sophomore were able to pull out a 14 to 0 win over the freshman and the juniors where beaten 30 to 0 by the seniors. Powder puff wasn't the only fun thing that happened this week, there was also flicks on the field, which is where the show a movie on the football field using projectors, this year's movie was Grease, which went well with our going back though the decades theme. and last but not least was the homecoming football game, pep rally, and homecoming dance.  Friday afternoon was the pep rally which had music played by B96,Friday night was the homecoming football game, that is when Grayslake broke its tradition of losing the homecoming game by beating Woodstock 37 to 0. The dance was what everybody had been waiting for, it was hosted by B96, everyone i asked had enjoyed themselves and the the appearance of B96, so homecoming was a success this year, and now we need to start looking forward to next year, and how we can make it even better,
